Last weekend our young scientists went to KAIST in Daejeon for their first Olympiad preparation sessions. We met Prof. Cafer T. Yavuz and his assistants , Dr. Sonia Zulfiqar and Dr. Hasmukh Patel, talked about the projects, and started to formulate our plan of action.
We were also very fortunate to meet Prof. William A. Goddard, III from the very prestigious Caltech University in the USA.
Professor Goddard is a world-renowned Chemistry and Physics scholar, and he was kind enough to give us some of his time and thoughts about our projects.
It really was a great way for the RIS teams to start their path to the Olympiads.
