This week's ESLR award goes to Zeynab for being a Dynamic Communicator. Zeynab can speak languages other then English but knows English is the only language we speak at RIS. She always finds creative ways to communicate in English to classmates who are learning English and loves to learn new vocabulary. She is one Dynamic Dolphin, keep up the great work!

Sophia consistantly displays the characteristics of an independant learner who strives to learn something new on her own. She has chosen to share her knowledge with the rest of the grade fives by bringing her own books from home into the classroom. Thank you Sophia!

- Layan showed generosity on the field trip. When she found out that Ali had forgotten his mittens, she offered to lend him her extra set of gloves.
- Hyung-wook shows the characteristics of an independent learner. He always works carefully and neatly to complete both in class assignments and homework assignments.

Badr showed that he is an independent learner by being self-reliant and self-motivated when finishing daily tasks and activities in the classroom.

- Hana demonstrated the actions of a life-long learner as she used Science Vocabulary outside of the classroom during the field trip. She sees the value in taking learning beyond the classroom and into the real world.
- Mohammed is demonstrating the traits of a dynamic communicator as he is beginning to use his English speaking skills with his friends in his class.
