On Monday, 28 March, RIS students joined their principal in a visit to the Japanese Embassy to make a special donation. They met with Mr.Hiroshi Suzuki. He mentioned that he is very happy for this donation.
After the tragic earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan students at RIS wanted to make a difference and help those in need.
During the parent teacher conferences held the week prior, the RIS student body, along with visiting parents were able to raise over 2 million won! Students and teachers worked very hard preparing a bake sale.
Being able to visit the Japanese Embassy and make this very generous donation helped students see that they can make a difference. Great work RIS!
