Dear Parents,
RIS is proud to hold our first annual Spelling Bee Competition this Wednesday, October 26th.
Spelling Bees are one of the most exciting ways for our elementary school students to compete in a friendly, educational environment. These competitions help promote literacy by providing students with a positive goal to word toward, and give them a forum to display the fruits of their dedication. In addition to improving spelling, the benefits of spelling bees extend beyond language skills. Our students will develop self-confidence, public speaking skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Thus, the staff and administration cordially invite you to this exciting event. Parental involvement is key in your child’s academic success, so we hope to see many of you here!
