Home Visiting!

On Thursday, May 10^th a few of our teachers travelled to Aleena’s house for a home visitation. It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know Aleena and her family on a more personal level. Her family members were the perfect hosts, and even prepared a variety of delicious traditional foods for us hungry teachers to try!

We stayed for a few hours, enjoyed nice conversation, and told each other accounts of our experiences in Korea and in our native countries. Aleena gave us a tour of her apartment and showed us her favorite areas to study and play. She told us that she enjoys taking care of her younger brother and sister and also doesn’t mind helping her mom with household chores. Our visitation made it easy to see why Aleena is such a mature and responsible student. By the end of our meeting, it was obvious that Aleena’s parents are extremely proud of her… and so are we!
