Last
year Rainbow International School officially became a member of the
Council of International Schools. This was attained following a visit
from Ray Davis, Associate Director of the Council of International Schools (CIS).
Rainbow International School began the CIS accreditation process in December 26, 2012. The school invited Mr. Ray Davis, the Associate Director of the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Ms. Christine Green, the Regional Accreditation Officer for the Council of International Schools (CIS) to the school for a Preliminary Visit. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the school’s readiness to proceed with the next stage of accreditation, the Self-Study.
During their visit, Mr. Ray Davis and Ms. Christine Green met with the School Founder, all Staff, PTA representatives and Student Council. They got to sit and talk candidly about Rainbow.

This
internationally recognized process will provide external validation of
our work and provides us with an opportunity to improve the quality of
education offered at the school, through a rigorous process of
self-examination.
