Today RIS students & staff welcomed eight members of the Seoul City Police Department.
Mr.Kim Sung Pil, Chief Inspector of Yangjae Police Department, Mr.Chun Il Bong, Seocho Police Office Traffic Control Section Chief and Mr.Jang Sung Kyong, Inspector in Yangjae Police Office took time to present and discuss city safety with our grade four through eight students.
Many safety procedures were talked about, including street safety, the use of the 112 emergency number and the negative impacts of bullying. During the presentation students watched an exciting video on the history of the 112 hotline as well as an informative animation on street safety.
Aside from safety students were given a presentation on the police equipment and even got to test out the police squad car!
What an informative and exciting day! We look forward to welcoming them back for the grade one through three presentation next week.
