Weekly ESLR Award winners

- Saleh [Gr.6] displays the qualities of a lifelong learner. He is not hesitant in asking a teacher additional questions when he does not fully understand his homework. He set a good example for other students.
- Fatima A [Gr.7] displays the characteristics of a socially responsible person. She strived to serve and undertook environmental stewardship by wiping the tables in the science lab after the class was over.

- Burak [Gr.8] displays the characteristics of an independent learner. He is often self-motivated to complete his assignments in a timely manner in class, and his enthusiasm for his work in Language Arts is commendable. Great Job!

RIS Young Scientists in Hanyang University
Last weekend our young scientists went to HANYANG UNIVERSITY in Seoul for the Olympiad preparation sessions. We met and assistants and had some experiments there.

Five Bus Rules
Today is Let's Remember the Bus Rules Day at RIS. Here are the top five things to remember, so that you have a peaceful, safe, and happy bus ride:
Bus Rule #1 Stay in your seat with your seatbelt on.
Bus Rule #2 Keep your arms and head inside the bus at all times.
Bus Rule #3 Use your quiet voice to talk with your friends.
Bus Rule #4 Keep your food and drinks inside your bag until you get home.
Bus Rule #5 When the bus arrives at your stop, wait for the bus assistant to open the door and let you out.
For all of you who are doing these five things every day, great job!
Hanyang University
RIS Science Project Olympiad Teams will be making a trip to HANYANG University in Seoul this weekend. They will meet Researchers and continue preparations for next year's competitions in Istanbul and Houston. Great stuff, everyone!
