On Friday, April 20th, RIS students, friends, and
families celebrated its annual International Day and Book Fair. The day was enjoyed by all,
as participants had the opportunity to celebrate a variety of countries through
music, food and sharing of information and to buy books for school library.
Students took part in a school wide
scavenger hunt in search of a variety of facts and details about the countries that
were represented in the fair’s country booths.
A delicious meal was shared by
all thanks to the effort of the RIS families who donated many traditional
dishes. Students & their families enjoyed wonderful tastes from around the
world. The day was completed with
International Day performances that included both RIS students & special
guests. The show was opened with an exciting flag ceremony which represented
the diverse student population of RIS.

day was had by all!
