Rainbow Staff and students were honored with very special guests Mr.Paik Sang-Ki and his wife Ms.Sang-ki.
In the Korean War 1950-1953, Mr.Paik Sang-ki was translator of Turkish Brigade. He studied and worked as a diplomat in Korean Embassy to Turkey many years. Now he is 80 years old, and insists that the view held by most Koreans of Turkey and Turkish people is still quite unique. They enjoyed to have a breakfast and small school tour in Rainbow International School. He and his wife had conversations with teachers and students.
Mr.Paik notes that the assistance delivered by
Turkish soldiers to Korea during those years has never been forgotten
and that Koreans still keep this memory alive.
