We got Bronze!!!RIS is proud to report that two students, Justin Kwon grade 5 and Burak Saglam grade 7, were chosen to represent our school at the Dream line,International Design Olympiad in Turkey this past week.
This competition was established six years ago in Turkey with the spirit of being an international organization that serves for the benefits of the existing generation, as well as the next generations.
Design is a common concept for all cultures and languages. Therefore all individuals from different regions come together to find a solution for common problems related with the concept of design. Our students submitted a design of an organic kitchen that would be a space saver, as well as have a positive impact on the environment. We are excited to report our design was awarded third place! Congratulations to all the teachers and students who worked hard to prepare and present our design concept. Great Job!
